TWO AWESOME OFF SEASON CAMPAIGN OFFERS
While Tasmania’s off season is very much our on season, we didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to take part in the fabulous Off Season campaign, so we’ve designed two awesome offers to enhance your off season!
Both offers begin and end at Ben Lomond Base, located at the corner of Blessington Road and Ben Lomond Road. Ben Lomond Base is only 30 minutes from Launceston, 1.5 hours from the Spirit of Tasmania dock at Devonport and only 25 mins to the top of the mountain (subject to good road conditions).
Here you’ll present your offer booking to the ticket office where they’ll kit you out for your day at Ben Lomond Alpine Resort. What you’ll do once you’re there depends on which Off Season offer you snap up!

Your Off Season bucket list is not complete without a family trip to the snow.
Rug up and grab your chains and toboggan at Ben Lomond Base before heading up to the powdery slopes of Ben Lomond Alpine Resort where tobogganing, snowball fights and snowman building awaits.
Return to the Base and defrost with fireside hot chocolate, mulled wine and melty ‘smores’.

Price: One Adult $89
This offer includes one set of snow chains, winter coats for two adults and two children, winter pants for two adults and two children, winter boots for two adults and two children, four helmets, four toboggans, two mulled wines, two hot chocolates and smores. All equipment and clothing must be collected from and returned to Ben Lomond Base at the bottom of the mountain.
Snow chains: if you have an uncommon tyre size please get in touch to ensure we have chains that will fit. While it is rare to need to fit snow chains, it is a legal requirement to carry them in your car.
Clothing: if you or your child has very specific sizing requirements, please get in touch with Ben Lomond Base to ensure we have the correct sizes for you.
National Parks Pass: You are required to have a valid national parks pass to enter Ben Lomond National Park. This can be purchased from Ben Lomond Base.

Looking to inject some adrenaline into your Off Season?
Make for the Base at Ben Lomond, grab your snow chains, lift pass, skis or snowboard, and get up the mountain for a day on the slopes at Ben Lomond Alpine Resort.
After a day of carving, sit back and relax around the fire pit with a warming Tassie spirit.
Price: $210 per adult
This offer includes one set of snow chains, one ski coat, one set of ski pants, either ski or snowboard boots, either a set of skis and ski poles or a snowboard, a helmet and an all-day lift pass for skiing or snowboarding at Ben Lomond Alpine Resort, and a mulled wine or hot chocolate at Ben Lomond Base. All equipment and clothing must be collected from and returned to Ben Lomond Base at the bottom of the mountain.
