Visit Ben Lomond Base

At the foothills of Ben Lomond, Ben Lomond Base is your first stop for a day on the mountain.
 
The ultimate mountain base camp, The Base has a visitor centre, licenced cafe, rental building, merchandise area and outdoor dining area. In winter, hire mandatory snow chains and in summer, rent e-bikes to explore the local area.
 
Start your day with locally roasted, barista-brewed coffee, and wind down after a day in the alpine with Tasmanian wines, lagers + ciders.

Winter at Ben Lomond

Ben Lomond Alpine Resort is the only commercial ski resort in Tasmania. With four state-of-the-art snowmakers + some of the highest alpine peaks in the state, Ben Lomond is the best place to reliably find snow in Tasmania over winter.

Come find us during the ski season, from mid-June to late September, for skiing, snowboarding, toboganning + snowplay.
