THE ROUTES
1- Ben Lomond Base to Ben Lomond Ski Village – $99
Ride up through eucalypt bush on gravel roads, to the infamous Jacobs Ladder. Tackle this incredible six hairpin road up to the alpine plateau where you can experience Australia’s largest boulder field and beautiful alpine wildflowers.
The ride from Ben Lomond Base to the Ski Village is around 1 hour 15 minutes up with a 30-45 min ride return. With amazing viewpoints to visit, including the fabulous Jacobs Ladder viewing platform, make sure you plan a round trip of at least 2.5 hours.
2- Blessington and the foothills of Ben Lomond – $79 for two hours
Enjoy a more gentle ride around the beautiful area surrounding Ben Lomond Base. Work your way through farmland and bush enjoying the lush countryside before returning to Ben Lomond Base Cafe for refreshments on the deck.
The Burns Creek Loop is around 1 hour and 20 minutes gentle riding but feel free to choose your own adventure and see where the road takes you!
